I also have three poetry pamphlets in publication -'The Treeless Region' (Ravenglass Poetry Press 2010), 'Lost at Sea', (Roncadora Press 2011), and 'The Dark Farms' (Roncadora Press 2012).
My poem 'John Henderson Walks' was shortlisted by Gillian Clarke for the Magma Poetry Prize in February 2013.
I've also read in the Poetry Doubles series in Dumfries and Galloway, at the Wordsworth Trust in Grasmere, at Poetry@The Ivory in Glasgow, Shore Poets in Edinburgh and at Wigtown Book Festival.
In October 2011 I received funding from Arts Trust Scotland for a short mentored residency at Cove Park http://covepark.org/. I spent an intensive week there working on my pamphlet 'The Dark Farms', published by Roncadora Press in 2012.

In 2008, I won the Dartington Hall Ways With Words Poetry Competition, in 2009 won both the Torbay Open Poetry Prize and the Ravenglass Poetry Press Competition, and in 2010 was a winner in both the Mirehouse Poetry Competition and the Elmet Poetry Prize. In 2011 'Lost at Sea' was shortlisted for the Callum Macdonald Memorial Prize. I was shortlisted for the Magma Poetry Prize 2012.
