I was working with the bothy office door open, and two young swallows swooped in, and hung for a second just beyond the doorway, under the low ceiling.
They clocked the desks and dull stuff, turned in the air and zipped away.
I'm working on Doors Open Days in a flurry of information gathering and sharing. It's so enjoyable to work on an event which is held in such affection by so many people.
And I also fitted in a short bike ride before lunch, in the interests of getting a bit fitter. An eight mile circuit from where we live has plenty of testing gradients. Low gear country.
